Program Notes:
Three Poisons is a Buddhist concept that explains the root of human troubles. The poisons are greed, hatred and delusion. Each of them is represented by an animal: respectively, chicken, snake and pig. This orchestral piece contains three movements that abstractly explore the interrelationship between them.
